Brent has lived in Wilmington, NC for over 30 years. He is originally from Kinston, NC, but moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW, where he received a Political Science Degree. While he was in school he worked in the restaurant business where he found that he had a strong passion for the culinary arts. Brent then went on to attend Johnson & Wales in Charleston, SC. Upon graduating Brent moved back to Wilmington, NC and worked in several local restaurants. While Brent enjoyed helping other restauranteurs grow their business, he always wanted to open his own, and now that time has come with Brent’s Bistro. Brent’s Bistro is a culmination of years of experience and passion coming together to create some of the finest Coastal Cuisine in the area. Brent has been married for 15 years to his amazing wife Dawn and they have an 11 year old daughter, Conner. When Brent is not at the Bistro, he can be found spending time with family and on the water.

Brent’s Bistro is available for daytime private parties and corporate luncheons. Brent will create a custom menu for whatever the occasion.
